Our standards
- Prohibited content and behavior. CSAM, sexualization of minors, grooming, sextortion, and any solicitation of or from minors are prohibited across all iBeep features, including private messages.
- Automated screening of public images. Public JPEG and PNG images — avatars and vehicle photos — are classified before publication by a machine-learning model we run ourselves, on our own servers in the European Union. No image is sent to a third party and no image bytes leave the EU for this check. The model flags sexual content and graphic violence, and an image it flags at or above our configured confidence threshold is refused: it is never published and never reaches our content-delivery network. We state plainly what this is not: it is not matching against a database of known child sexual abuse images, and it cannot determine the age of anyone shown in an image. It is an adult-content and graphic-violence filter, it runs on public images only and not on media in private messages, and we do not present it as CSAM detection.
- Reporting and blocking. iBeep provides in-app tools to report content or users and to block any user. Reports of child-safety violations are prioritized for review.
- Enforcement. Where human review confirms a child-safety violation, one moderation decision removes the reported content and permanently terminates the responsible account in the same step, so a confirmed account cannot keep operating while the rest of the case is handled. A terminated account is signed out, cannot send messages, and its profile, vehicles and photos are taken down from the public surfaces of the app. We keep the report and the decision taken on it for 90 days after the report is closed, and longer only where a competent authority formally requires it.
- Reporting to authorities. Child-safety reports reach our designated child-safety point of contact and are reviewed with priority, and we aim to review one within 24 hours of receiving it. A confirmed case is reported to the competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova — a criminal complaint to the police cyber unit and the Prosecutor’s Office — and to the national child-protection hotline. Those reports are made by a person and are never automated: no system of ours sends an external report on its own, and neither a user report nor an automated classifier verdict is treated as a finding of fact. Where a report turns out to be wrong, the decision is dismissed and no enforcement follows.
- Legal compliance. We comply with applicable child-safety laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including the Republic of Moldova and Romania, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests as required by law.
