What iBeep is

iBeep is a social application for drivers: you can look up vehicle registration plates, create profiles for your vehicles, verify vehicle ownership, and chat 1:1 with other users, including sending photos and GIFs in private messages.

Your account

You must be 16 or older and use accurate information.
Sign-in is via Google or Apple only. You are responsible for the security of that sign-in and for activity on your account.
One person, one account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
You can delete your account at any time directly in the app. Deletion removes your account and content as described in the Privacy Policy.

Vehicles and verification

Add only vehicles you own or are authorised to represent. Ownership disputes are resolved through the in-app verification/challenge process; we may ask for a photo of the vehicle registration certificate, which is processed transiently and never stored (see the Privacy Policy §1.4).
Submitting forged, altered, or someone else’s documents is a serious violation and results in permanent account termination.
Plate lookups show vehicle profiles that users have chosen to create. iBeep is not an official vehicle registry and makes no guarantee about the accuracy of user-provided vehicle information.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post (profiles, photos, messages). You grant us the licence needed to operate iBeep: to store, transmit, and display your content to its intended audience (your public vehicle profile to other users; your private messages to their recipients only).
You are responsible for what you post. Post only content you have the right to share.

Rules of conduct

You must not use iBeep to:

harass, threaten, stalk, or defame anyone — including via plate lookup: locating a driver in the real world to confront them is prohibited;
post or send illegal content, hate speech, or sexual content involving minors in any form (see §6 — zero tolerance);
send unsolicited commercial messages or spam;
impersonate any person, misrepresent vehicle ownership, or submit false documents;
scrape, bulk-collect, or resell data from iBeep, or interfere with its operation (reverse engineering, rate-limit evasion, vulnerability exploitation);
circumvent a suspension or ban.

Violations may result in content removal, feature limits, suspension, or permanent termination, depending on severity. Where we take such action, we tell you what was taken and why, and how to contest it (§8) — except where the law requires or permits otherwise.

Child safety — zero tolerance

Child sexual abuse and exploitation content is strictly prohibited. Our full standards are published at ibeep.app/child-safety/.

Automated screening of public images. When you confirm a public JPEG or PNG for an avatar or a vehicle gallery, we classify it before publication with a machine-learning model that we run ourselves, on our own servers in the European Union. The image is not sent to any third party and no image bytes leave our EU infrastructure for this check. An image the model labels as sexual content or graphic violence at or above our configured confidence threshold is refused and never published. This screening is not matching against a database of known child sexual abuse images, and it cannot determine the age of any person shown in an image — it is an adult-content and graphic-violence filter and nothing more. It runs only on public avatar and vehicle images at the moment you confirm them; it does not run on media in private messages. Child sexual abuse material is acted on through reports and human review: a confirmed child-safety violation means the content is removed, the responsible account is permanently terminated, and the case is reported to the competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova and to the national child-protection hotline. Reporting and blocking

You can report any content, message, or user from within the app, and block any user. Reports are reviewed by a human and acted on per these terms. Child-safety reports may be made anonymously to child-safety@ibeep.app.

Appeals

If you believe we removed your content or restricted your account in error, contact support@ibeep.app within 30 days. A human will review the decision. This does not limit any right you have to complain to the CNPDCP or to seek a judicial remedy.

iBeep Pro (subscriptions)

iBeep Pro is an optional paid subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by the store under its terms: subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store subscription settings; refunds are per store policy.
Prices are shown before purchase and may change with notice effective from the next renewal.
Pro features may evolve; we will not materially reduce what a current subscription period includes.

Availability and changes

iBeep is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may modify, add, or remove features. We may discontinue iBeep with reasonable advance notice, in which case these terms end and mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for intent or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights under Moldovan law). Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law: we are not liable for content posted by users, for interactions between users (online or offline), or for indirect losses; our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or 1,000 MDL if you paid nothing). You use plate lookup and user interactions at your own judgment.

Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (§5–§6), with the notice and appeal rights in §8. We may terminate inactive free accounts after long inactivity with prior notice.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Moldova. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts of the Republic of Moldova; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in force.

Changes to these terms

We will notify you in the app of material changes before they take effect; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. The current version is always at ibeep.app/terms/.
